Details: The back frame on the Modern-1 can be custom made from 1 1/2" to any width. The door frames can be either 2" or 4" wide. When the back frame is 1 1/2" wide, it becomes hidden behind the front doors, which creates the more contemporary "Hidden Frame" option (left). The back frame and door frames can be the same finish, or two separate finishes (Center and Right). The doors can be bifold (2" only), cabinet or a single door.
Shown Above: Optional AirWash System: When burning gas logs, you must normally keep glass doors open to prevent the pilot mechanism from overheating and melting. The Modern-1 can be made with an optional AirWash system that allows you to burn gas logs with the doors closed. This unique feature has vents (shown above) that allow extra airflow into the fireplace to keep things cool. Pictured above is a side view showing the optional AirWash vents on a 5" wide back frame in black with 4" wide brushed stainless steel doors.

Shown Above: Left Photo: Masonry fireplace installation uses Z-Tabs with pressure screws that press into the masonry inside the fireplace, no drilling required. Center Photo: Mounting to Zero Clearance fireplaces using Z-Tabs with pressure screws that press into the black metal inside the fireplace. This requires 1/4" spacers to allow aiflow into the fireplace. Right Photo: When the frame is made to cover all of the black metal, including louvers, the door can be mounted with magnets or Z-Tabs. If the frame is not recessed inside the facia, a 3/4" return can be added to hide the magnets as shown.
