Terms and Conditions

Below are the terms and conditions for purchases made from Fireplace Treatments. We believe you will find them to be fair and equitable compared to our competitors and other online retailers. Be sure to read them carefully and let us know if you have any questions or concerns before you make your purchase, because placing an order either by phone or through our shopping cart is an acceptance of these terms. Please note that modifications to these terms and conditions may apply to trade customers who make volume purchases or purchases for resale. We reserve the right to modify theese terms and conditions at any time and will post any changes to our policies to this page.

Order Cancellations/Returns

All items sold by Fireplace Treatments are custom made or ordered specifically for your fireplace and are not eligible for a refund or return once production has begun. If you wish to cancel an order, please do so right away in order to avoid any potential charges. There are some cases where we can cancel an order in mid-production with some of our manufacturers, but you will be charged to compensate the manufacturer for cost of labor and materials that have been incurred up to that point. Don't count on this to always be the case, it is the exception to the rule. However, know that we do everything we can to minimize the cost to our customers when circumstances require the cancellation of a custom order.

Guaranteed Fit

Fireplace screens, glass doors and gas logs can be complicated and ordering the correct size and model for your fireplace is nearly impossible unless you know what you are doing. That is why we have our FREE Fireplace Design Service. If you engage with us using this service, we will guarantee your items will be fit your fireplace based on the dimensions you provide. If the manufacturer does not make the item to fit the dimensions you have provided, we will accept responsibility for covering the cost to remedy the situation. We cannot assume responsibility for items that do not fit if you provide incorrect measurements, so be very careful when you measure.

Damaged Goods

When you receive your items, be sure to inspect the packaging and take pictures of any external damage to the packaging that you notice. Open the box or crate and inspect the merchandise before accepting and signing for delivery. If you discover upon inspection that the merchandise is damaged, take pictures of the damagwe and refuse to accept the delivery. Have the driver make arrangements to return the item(s) back to the manufacturer. Email your pictures to and we will communicate with the manufacturer to get your items replaced at no charge. We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred to replace damaged merchandise shipped by a freight carrier that has been reported within 48 hours.

Hidden Damage

If you were not able to inspect the merchandise upon delivery, it is critical that you open the package as soon as possible. You have 48 hours to report any hidden damage so that we can file a damage claim with the shipping company. We cannot guarantee the manufacturer will fix any issues reported beyond the 48 hour window, although we will do our best to resolve the issue at minimal cost to you.

Sales Tax

We are located in California, so we must charge sales tax if your items are delivered in California. We do NOT collect tax for any other states. Please be aware that you may be liable for sales tax for items you purchase online depending on your state's tax laws.


Your privacy is important to us. We do not share or sell your personal information with any outside company other than what is necessary to process your order and get it shipped to you

Payment: To provide maximum security for our customers, we do not keep credit card numbers on file or store them in a database where a hacker could access them. All payments are processed securtly using Square. You can read about their security here: Square Security Policy.

Lead Times

Lead Time: Lead times vary between manufacturers. The lead times quoted on our site or over the phone are approximate. Although, in most cases, you will receive your merchandise before the end of the lead time, back orders may occur which can delay the shipment of merchandise. When back orders occur, we do our best to notify you so that you have the option of waiting the additional estimated time or cancelling your order with no cancellation fees.

Order Confirmations

Order Confirmations:Before we process your payment, we will provide with an invoice for your review. Be sure to check your confirmation to ensure all of the information is correct including the shipping address and the individual items on the order. If you find something wrong, please email: with the corrections within 48 hours. Otherwise, we will assume everything is correct and process your order as it is shown in the invoice.
