"We love our fireplace screen! I was a little nervous about buying the screen online but our fireplace is so large that I needed something custom made. Greg was very helpful and patient. He sent us several mock-ups so it would be easier for us to choose our screen. The one we ultimately ordered looked very similar to the mock-up. I was also concerned about installation but it ended up being very easy to install (and we are not at all handy!). It fits perfectly and really added a touch of elegance to our fireplace. We have had the screen for about a year and it looks as good as the day we purchased it. I would definitely recommend Hansen for fireplace screens!

I ended up spot welding a nut to the "L" brackets I fashioned so they could be tightened with the bolt pushing against the back of the fireplace opening, Worked perfectly. Here are two pictures of the finished result. You have an excellent product. We like how the curved design of the doors follows the curved arch on the stonework.

We look forward to the heating season again so that we can enjoy the fireplace.
