Our Comments: I am assuming you want mesh curtains for this fireplace. These can be made with a top bar, top and bottom bar or a 4-sided frame. The bottom bar and frame prevent logs and ashes from rolling out onto the hearth. You can also add a pet deterrent channel to the bottom bar or frame that prevents the mesh from being pushed inwards, thus deterring pets from getting into the fireplace.
