Customer Comments: We installed custom marble mantel but the gas fireplace is smaller than the opening so we have gaps on the sides and the top. We want to install a frame that covers those gaps and works with this traditional marble mantel well.
Our Comments: I recommend using a free standing fireplace screen with andirons to achieve a traditional look that helps hide the black metal around the fireplace. Adding an inner frame with a double layer of wire mesh between the inner and outer frame does an even better job. The area inside the inner frame can have a fine weave mesh or can be left with no mesh at all, although I believe the mesh will look better. I have included several of my Half Price Closeout Special* andirons to help keep the cost down while achieving the desired look.

This high-end screen is hand forged by a skilled blacksmith at Stone Manufacturing with a beautiful border scroll pattern to hide the fireplace.
