Custom Screen for Heat Circulating Zero Clearance Fireplace with Gas Logs - Project #21135

Customer Comments: I just rebuilt my gas fireplace and need a custom made, single panel, 1/4” wrought iron screen that sits inside the side stone. One piece, with no glass, no doors or pull screens. The top 24”x6” grate will allow heat flow from fan. The 36”x24” screen will be fixed ‘ welded in place. Color wise, l’m thinking Burnished Black. Please send you comments and estimated cost. I live in Rathdrum, Idaho. Thanks.

Our Comments: The vents on the top and bottom must remain open to allow air to flow freely into the fireplace and prevent it from overheating and causing a fire hazard. Below are examples of how louvers can be used to accomplish this with both free standing screens and a single screen door.

High End Hand Forged Wrought Iron Makeover

This door is desgined to attach to the black metal with magnets and give the fireplace front a complete makeover. It is made with a 3/4" deep black steel outer frame with a 1/4" thick hand forged wrought iron single wire mesh door. This will transform the look of the fireplace, while making accesing the logs and fan assembly convenient.
