Customer Comments: Looking for a door in gold like the Legend All Glass. Need samples.
Our Comments: Below is a range of doors in either gold or satin brass. The handles on the drawers below the hearth appear to be real satin brass, so I recommend Option #3 or #4 for the best match. All of these doors must be burned with the doors open execpt for Option #4.

Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.
Option #1: Hearth Creations Profile-4 Aluminum Cabinet Fireplace Glass Door in Anodized Brushed Brass with Clear Glass.
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They all come in a gold powder coat finish, while a couple are also available in a real satin brass plated finish to best match the handles on the hearth drawers.
Option #2: Design Specialties Legend All Glass Powder Coated Steel Cabinet Fireplace Door in Gold Rush with Clear Glass.
Option #3: PW Elite Plated Steel Cabinet Fireplace Door in Real Satin Brass with Clear Glass.
Option #4: Hearth Creations Mid-Century Modern 1 Cabinet Fireplace Door with Satin Brass Sheet Metal Overlay (with seams) and Clear Glass. Can also be made with solid steel plated satin brass doors without seams for a premium. This unique design has the doors standing about 1" in front of the hidden frame allowing it to be made without handles. It can also be burned with the doors closed when purchased with the AirWash system.
These doors are hand crafted by Stone Manufacturing from Solid Brass in the most durable high quality satin brass finish on the market. This is the only manufacturer in the USA that makes fireplace doors from solid brass and they are retiring the business at the end of next month. These doors may or may not be available, depending on how quickly you can make your decision.
Option #5: Stone Manufacturing MINIMAL-1 Solid Brass Frameless Cabinet Glass Door in Satin Brass. This door has no frame on the sides, just an angle iron on the top and bottom to hold the door hardware. It has 3/8" thick glass for a novel elegant look. This is the ultimate choice for this application as the hardware compliments the door pulls under the hearth beautifully.
Option #6: Stone Manufacturing FLD-1 Solid Brass Frameless Cabinet Glass Door in Satin Brass. This door is similar to Option #2 in design, but made from solid brass.
If you are planning on burning anything in your fireplace, you need to have mesh behind the glass so you can burn a fire with the doors open. You can chooe between gate mesh backup doors and sliding mesh curtains. Functionally, gate mesh performs the best as the wire has smaller holes that sparks cannot get through. Aesthetically, mesh curtains may be preferred because they do not have a vertical center frame that obstructs the view of the fire. When you are not using the fire or you want a complete unobstructed view, they do not stick out like gate mesh doors when they are opened.
We are showing these options on a flat steel bifold door with a satin brass overlay and gray glass.
