Customer Comments: Hello, I would like a quote for glass fireplace doors. These are the measurements. 50 3/4" L x 31" W , top to bottom. The house is a mid century modern home and fairly minimalistic. Thank you for your time.
Our Comments: We will start with solid brass doors that can be custom made to fit your fireplace. These are all very high end, so if they are beyond the budget, we will present some other alternatives that are not made from solid brass.
Fireplace Opening: 50 3/4" W x 31" H
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from 100% Virgin Solid Brass. The brass can be highly polished in a dull hand polished finish. A clear baked on enamel is applied that is heat resistant and never needs polishing. Very high end, and very refined.

If you are planning on burning anything in your fireplace, you need to have mesh behind the glass so you can burn a fire with the doors open. You can chooe between gate mesh backup doors and sliding mesh curtains. Functionally, gate mesh performs the best as the wire has smaller holes that sparks cannot get through. Aesthetically, mesh curtains may be preferred because they do not have a vertical center frame that obstructs the view of the fire. When you are not using the fire or you want a complete unobstructed view, they do not stick out like gate mesh doors when they are opened.
We are showing these options on a flat steel bifold door with a satin brass overlay and gray glass.
