Quote Instructions:

There are several different brands of fireplace gas valves with different size thread sizes and keys. In order to help us identify what you need, please send us pictures of your existing valve cover and key like the ones you see below, along with your measurements. It is best to take the pictures with your measuring tape in place so we can see how you measured.

Measuring for Valve Covers and Gas Keys

V1 (Fig. 1): Valve Cover Face Diameter
V2 (Fig. 1): Valve Cover Thread Length
V3 (Fig. 2): Valve Cover Inner Thread Diameter (ID)
K1 (Fig. 3): Gas key shaft length. Measure from base of key to end of finial:
K2 (Fig. 4): Gas key finial measurement. Should be either 1/4" or 5/16":
Thread Photo (Fig. 5): Take a picture from an angle so we can see the inner thread of the valve cover and determine if it is standard or fine thread.

3/4" Fine Thread - Fits fine threaded valves

7/8" Thread - Requires original valve cover for rework

Diameter Options for VC-1 Round: 2", 2 1/2" (standard), 3" and 4"
Custom Collar can be added to VC-1 Round in above diameters for protruding valves
